Webdavfs broken in Mavericks

I "right clicked" on the links and selected "Save link as ..." (I'm using chrome, I don't know if you have the same with other browsers)

Have anyone had any problems with an "error" saying something in the way of:

file server does not allow multiple user logs in.

I get this when i try to cinnect through the "Go" menu and "connect to server" (CMD+K)

I try to connect to this address:

http://xxxx.synology.me:5005

I can't get any further than /System/Library/Filesystems/webdav.fs

webdav.fs is not a folder for me.

Some folders are hidden for novice users, not messing in there.

You can open it with a right click of your mouse, and show package contents.

I don't have a MainMenu.nib folder

That's what the tip says, MainMenu.nib folder is missing, so you create that folder and put this 3 .nib files inside the MainMenu.nib folder you just created.

You can download the 3 files by pressing alt+click over the file, then change the nib.html in the name to .nib

Solved! For 10.9.2, need to place MainMenu.nib folder in /System/Library/Filesystems/webdav.fs/Support/webdav_cert_ui.app/Contents/Resour ces, rather than /System/Library/Filesystems/webdav.fs/Support/webdav_cert_ui.app/Contents/Resour ces/English.lproj

There is a much simpler solution....

Use Safari to go to the webdav server address (e.g. https://server:port). When prompted, show the certificate and click the "Always trust..." checkbox, and then continue. Now go back to the Finder and connect to the server. Voilà.

Guys, has anyone had any luck getting MS Office-documents Quick look-feature working under Mavericks? Anyone at all?

Running WebDAV through an Apache web server and this has worked, as mentioned by so many before, perfectly under 10.8.5.

Seems like the Sandboxing under Mavericks does not consider doc/docx, xls/xlsx or ppt/pptx safe..? Something goes wrong during the handling of tokens during Quick look's requests to the Webserver...The only time Finder is able to Quick look these are when the documents are already opened, and hence the token given in opening the file gives Quick look access...

Is this Bug reported by any of you guys? So very exhausted by trying to crack this nut. Getting to little sleep over this.

I've even tried setting up Apples own WebDAV on a Mac 10.9 Server with the same result. Why is this not a priority Apple?

If anyone's still referring to this, I've just updated to 10.9.4 and the WebDAV problem (related to .nib files) appears to have been fixed. Upgrades over-write any changes made and new installs are fine too. Happy days!
