I was experiencing the same "symptoms" as everyone else on my MacBook Pro, and tried the AutoCAD fix, but it didn't work for me. Reinstalling the OS didn't work either. I ended up taking it into the Apple Store, and they did a NetInstall, which fixed the problem. My analysis is that something in the original Mavericks software is causing the problem, and since it copies itself onto a partition to use as a "reinstall disk", the problem isn't solved with the normal software reinstall. It has been a month now since the NetInstall, and everything is running smoothly. So, for everyone out there with the flashing, jerking, and choppy screens/docks/Exposé, I would recommend visiting your local Apple Store, gettting a NetInstall, and reminding them how unfortunant it is that there new software is causing so many problems. After all, we expect malfunctions like this to happen with Windows, but not Apple.
