I confirm, this problem affects my mbpr 2013 i7 high end andmy mba 2013 i7 high end.

So I think its a material issue that will never be fixed with an software update. Apple has to replace all ihm interface (Keybord+trackpad) on every device... They will never admit the problem, it's easier, and it's their strategy since ever...

I think we are in right to get a fonctionnal computer when we pay 2 or 3 time the price of an equivalent PC...

I'm fed up paying that much for unusable devices...

MBP 13" early 2011 and is been doing the keyboard freeze a few weeks now, fine on an external keyboard though. Mouse trackpad died before this, so don't know about that. Oh and also since mavericks the bluetooth dies 30 mins after a reboot too (I used to use a bluetooth mouse! HA!). I basically have a laptop that is not portable!

Please Apple, do something about this!

This pay you back for your loyalty... I used to trust Apple too... before...

Today, I was presenting a webdesign showcase for a client, and I couldn't log in (no keyboard and pad), restarted 3 time. Finally accessed, but crashed during a vidéo demo of cinetics options... I did the demo with small paper sheets... I was so ridiculous... I think we lost our client confidence. They laught at me...

I'm thinking of buying sponsorised tweets to make apple hurry up in finding a solution... Aren't you ?

I just want my stuff to work for me, not the reverse...

I'm about three weeks in to my brand new MacBook Pro retina 13" and on the second week I was browsing the internet when all of a sudden my MacBook just restarted on its own. After it powered back up it asked me to send a report errror to Apple and I moved on. Now on the third week (about five minutes ago) my MacBook's trackpad and keyboard were unresponsive, although the youtube video I was watching was still playing. I had to hold down the power button to restart but it wasn't working until I plugged in the charger and pressed the power button again. It's kind of annoying that I spent so much money on a computer that does this on the first couple of weeks of owning it. I hope it doesn't continue. If anyone found a fix or anyting please let me know. Thanks.
