    Thanks a lot!

In the console I can see a lot of error like yours (USB device bla bla bla). At the moment it show this error but no freeze or unresponsive situation of keyboard and trackpad.

Have you guys some ideas? Will it fix by software update? Or is this an hardware issue?

It seems that something's going on with the internal connection of the keyboard and trackpad. Each time I write somthing, the error pops up.

The hanging probably needs somthing else to happen.

Also seeing that error about the internal keyboard/mouse causing some kind of wake up.  With so many people seeing this issue I would expect it's a firmware problem.

I'm going to feedback to Apple I suggest anyone getting the problem does the same that way hopefully they'll see there is a significant issue worthy of a quick update to fix

Another one here, happened two times within half an hour, it works perfectly fines for something like half a day before with heavy file transfert over wifi.

    Two random thought :

    - the first time it happen I was doing heavy image processing with Lightroom, I wasn't using Lightroom the second time, but maybe it's heat related since both seems to happen in a row.

    - both time I had Dropbox synchronizing stuff, I remember it very well because it was the only things moving on the screen. I installed dropbox maybe 10 minutes before the crash, and now that it's not syncing anymore, the problem

seems gone (for now at least, which would be a little hour).

Both things are probably pure coincidence... or not

For anyone having this issue it would be a real help to notify Apple.  I did this by going to the following link http://www.apple.com/feedback

I also plan to speak to Apple support as well before deciding whether to keep this or not

This is beyond a joke i have the same issue.

i swapped mine for a brand new one again. same issue.........

sounds like faulty hardware or software.

ive waisted 10 hours setting both of these up now very disapointing for a 2000$ + product.

should just go back to windows. everyone convinced me into going mac.... what a disapointment, out of all the laptops ive had in the past nothing like this has EVER happened to a brand new computer....

hopefully they find a fix? how long do we have to get a full refund?

    13" Retina Macbook Pro (Haswell)

I am having the same freezing problem folks, both the trackpad and keyboard become unresponsive. Only way to fix it is to reboot the system.

Apple needs to provide a firmware update to fix this soon or I will be returning this.

After 27 years in the IT industry I finally convert to Mac and buy my 1st Apple Laptop, and this is what I'm faced with. Typical ain't it. Hope a fix is issued soon!
