No sound out after wake up in Mavericks

I have updated to Mavericks three days ago.

But I find that there is no sound output (headphone &speaker) after sleep, even though for 1 second's sleep.

Everytime I need to restart the computer to obtain the sound again.

Someone list the following suggested solution, but it actually does not work:

"

Close all windows and quit all applications.

Click "Go" menu in the Finder menubar.

Select Computer, then Macintosh HD > Library > Preferences

Open "Audio" folder.

Right click these two files and select "Move to Trash".

com.apple.audio.DevicesSettings.plist

com.apple.audio.SystemSettings.plist

Close the window. Restart the computer.

"

I really really hope someone can help me to solve this problems.

Many thanks!

Apple = know the hardware they bundle with there machines = must be mutch easier to track down hardware and software buggs.

Microsoft = lots of diffrent hardware = hard to track the buggs, is it software or is it hardware...

So the conclusion, why is this not fixed?! We are not alone with this bug, and not all take the effort to send the feedback and post here....

This problem only comes with the MAC OX 10.9 Update, at leat for my MBA mid 2013, I will downgrade the os becouse there seem to not be any offical fix any time soon...

This makes me sad about apples take on this problem!

Hillarious. I plugged headphones into my Mac bookpro and it crashed. The first time it happend last week, I challked it up to a fluke, the second time (today), not so much. Unfortunately, it is not reproducable so I can't show an apple tech. I really wish Apple would repair this bug.

Experiencing this issue/bug on my MBP late 2011 with Mavericks OSX 10.9.1.

I've been having too many issues since installing the new OSX.

Launchpad scroll right/left isn't smooth and get stuck if I try to scroll slowly.

Had few issues with scrolling backwards on Safari iside a page.

The popping/cracking sound and sometimes no sound at all is by far the worst issue I've ever had on this MBP!

As mentioned in most comments- it's usually after wake-up from sleep.

I've noticed that the main issue is using Audio when running flash (i.e Youtube etc.) straight after wake-up.

I've got the latest Flash driver & Java installed and the latest OSX update as well - so it's definitely a bug.

The easiest temporarely solution I found, apart from Force Quit Coreaudio or Sudo kill 'Coreaudiod', is to touch your Volume buttons on your keyboard (volume up/volume down) straight after wake-up, or even play a tune on iTunes.

For me it works just fine and I'm not having any issues whatsoever. When I play a Youtube video straight after wake-up I always have issues (cracking sound) or no-sound at all.

Hope that helps! I'm really waiting for the new OSX update.

Cheers
