ITunes 11.1.2 no longer has a book tab

With the introduction to the new iBooks with Mavericks, Apple did a big change in how to import books.

Not that complicated since you get the know how. Let me help you on this:

Open iBooks, Click File, select "Add to Library"

Now open iTunes and when selecting your device, iPhone or iPad, select Books, there you should see all PDF and ePub files.

As I am new to Mac , I brought MacBookPro on 21st Jan 2016, So I never used older versions, so I have found this easy 🙂

What a mess. Just dreadfully misguided. Again.

Not working on my side. It doesn't look like there is any way I can sync a PDF from my MacBook Pro, to my iPad. Crap. Really frustrating. So much time wasted, reminds me of the old times on Windows.

I have an iBooks library with literally hundreds of books, and yet i still have no way to sync them to my iphone. The "Books" library never appears in the iphone settings page.

What am I supposed to do as a Windows user? I used to synchronize Calibre with Itunes and push books to my iPad. Now iPad becomes a useless tablet.. bring the books tab back!

What if you don't have a Mac. I use my windows computer for my iPad and iPhone

With iTunes 12.7 it would seem that the intention is that all iBook management is done in the iBooks app.
