iPhone lock screen keyboard bug

On my iPhone 5, with iOS 7.0.3, in about 5% of the time I try to unlock my iPhone, the keyboard is split between the 2 windows. I use a complex code to unlock my iPhone.

If I slide the window, the second half of the keyboard is visible, but I cannot access to all the letters (the keyboard move with the window), witch I need to enter my password. The solution I found is to enter some letters, slide back to the lock screen, and then the keyboard return to a normal shape.

I have that since I switch to iOS7, I tried to restore the iPhone, no change. My iPhone was change under guarantee for an another problem, the bug was still there, upgrade to 7.02 and 7.0.3, no change. I have contacted the apple support, they never heard about that, so they suggest my to reset the settings, and then to disabled all the disable facilities (like the parralax thing).

Does anyone have the same problem ? Is there a solution ?

I have the same issue. iPhone 5s running iOS 7.0.3 and I have simple password disabled. Parallax has been disabled since iOS 7 install. I never had it before using the complex password, but that may be circumstantial.

Due to it happening on the 5s, I just open the phone with my print when it occurs.

Same problem here, iPhone 5s, simple passcode disabled. Not a show stopper, fingerprint still works, as does sliding to log in, but it looks bad. Almost like it wasn't fully tested......

I found that the problem apears after using the camera from the lock screen.

Have you tried reset?

Reset: Hold down the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears. Note: You will not lose any data

Also check if you have Zoom on?

Settings > General > Accessibility > Zoom: > should be OFF.

If the above do not help.

Restore from backup

Restore as new

Hi, as mentionned in my first post, this problem appears on 2 different iPhone.

I did not tried the reset, but I assume that a reset is done after restoring the data on the seconde one. I will try it as it cost nothing.

Zoom is OFF.

The reset did not work, I use the camera from the lock screen ( The camera logo located on the bottom right of the screen), take some picture and a small video. Lock the iPhone, I press the home button and the problem appears.

Slide the screen, slide back, the keyboard return to a normal behavior.

P.S. The check of the spelling doesn't recognized the word iPhone !!

You should restore as new without using the backup (looks like the backup is corrupted)

You can sync your content back manually.

Folsk, think carefully before you run off and do a full restore as another poster is suggesting. This is most likely a graphics bug, and will be fixed in a future release. A restore won't hurt anything, but it's doubtful it will help anything either. One thing it will do is cause you to spend a bunch of time (needlessly) reloading apps and configuring things.

I will follow the advice of JF and wait if there is a change in the next update. The restoration will cost me an hour, a call to Apple Support will also cost me another hour. So, I'll live with the problem. I thank you for your participation in this discussion.
