Apple Event: May 7th at 7 am PT
The music and sound section of my FCPX is empty after dowloading the app to my newly purchased Mac Book Pro. On my I7 it has tons of stock music and sound, the laptop seems to be missing this. Any ideas why?

I don't know what APM is. If you want it in the laptop, copy it to the laptop. Drag the folder into music browser.
APM is the assiciated production music that came with my original download of Final Cut Pro X. I just came from the Genius Bar and they seem to think that I downloaded it from a third party, which i didn't. Unfortunately my desktop is with me at the moment so I can't take a screen shot of that. There were over a hundred different songs on there that were very useful for background music, and they were quite different from the regular ilife tunes that have been around now for a while.
I'll have to live without them for now until I get back to my desktop. I really appreciate your time spent on this, Tom.
Do you ever get any sleep? Anyway, I'll give you a screenshot of the library that came with FCPX on my desktop.

Nothing like that comes or ever came with FCPX.
I keep hearing that. When I get back to my desktop, which will be in 12 days, I will send you a screenshot of what I am talking about. But thanks again for your help and interest.
