Change titles on iBooks?
I'm on Mavericks now.
How do I modify titles and authors on iBooks? I can't. It was possible on iTunes but now I don't.

You can't yet.
Apple listens if enough people complain. If you hate the current implementation of iBooks, send Apple feedback here:
If you have a PDF, press 'Select' at top right of screen. Then press for one or two seconds on the title you want to change and you get a cursor and magnifier appear by it. You can then change the title. When finished, tap 'Done' at the top right corner of the screen. (It's the prolonged pressure bit that's the trick.)
OK, that works for PDFs, but not for epub files, or not for me anyway. Is it supposed to work for epub files?

For iBooks on your iPad or iPhone:
- Change the view to 'List', on the top left corner
- Press 'Select', on the top right corner.
- Long press on the title that you want to change. The loop will pop up then you can edit the title.
- When finished, press 'Done' that will appear on the top right corner
Perfect! Thanks very much for the tip!!
Seems easy, Se7s. but the loop never popped up.
And if I merely change the title in iTunes, that has no effect.
What to do?
