QTKitServer Safari Web Content
Just had a look at activity monitor and found the following:
Does anyone know the reason for this? Safari itself is working normal, apart from random spinning wheel...
Kind regards,
MacBook Pro, OS X Mavericks (10.9)

No. It is not still occurring. This thread in this forum is about not respond QT KIT SERVER processes that have been fixed in OS X Mavericks 10.9.2.
This is not about Safari Web Content (Not Responding). That is a whole different process. Sometimes, that process will fail, but just close down your Safari browser, open it up again, and then you're back to business. No big deal! Plus, further updates of Safari 7 will get better and better. So, have fun, and don't worry! Cheers!
this is my problem , and that looks like same with the this communities host.(every time when i open the Safari, my macbook's CPU will be blow up to 100% and CPU temperature will over 70 degree Celsius ,then insane operation for fan )
BUT!! i followed your ways , and my problem has been killed. Thank you so much
After you do that move "FlashPlayer.plugin" to the Trash
