Cannot erase iPad without iCloud password

I have an iPad used in a school setting. A student no longer at this school signed in with her icloud account. After upgrading to IOS7 I am unable to erase this iPad and remove this icloud account. I have tried but keep getting message to turn off find my Ipad and cannot do this without password. I cannot delete and erase all settings without password. I cannot sign out of icloud account without password. Please help me get out of this loop.

Regardless of the profile Cra5hx is telling you about, you cannot get around the Find My iDevice security setting. Installing the profile will let you get around it for wiping the device, however upon setup of the device you will need to enter the Apple ID Password for the last ID that was signed in.

Cra5hx is absolutely right for wiping the device, and it works great, but it is so far impossible on iPad to get around Find My iDevice settings.

Listen what you can do to reset it, is to make it run into DFU Mode this worked for me, the steps are shown below:

  1. Plug your iPhone, iPod touch, or iPad into your Mac or Windows PC and make sure iTunes is running.
  2. Hold down both the Sleep Button (on top of your device) and the Home Button (on the front underneath the screen).
  3. Keep them both held down from about 10 seconds. (If you see the Apple logo, you've held them too long and will need to start again.)
  4. Let go of the Sleep Button but keep holding the Home Button for about 5 seconds. (If you see the "Plus into iTunes" screen than you held it too long and will need to start again.)
  5. If the screen stays black, that's it! Your iPhone, iPod touch, or iPad should now be in DFU mode.
