What has happened to Apple?

Okay. I've been an Apple fan since the beginning, but things are falling apart... Mavericks is buggy. Mac Mail hangs ALL OF THE TIME.. I've never had to force quit as much as I do now. My iPhone/iPad is buggy and iTunes is just going nuts. If I go to a song, it just starts flipping out and moving to other songs (and it never did that before)... Sometimes when I end a call, it never ends until I shut down my iPhone and restart it... And don't get me started on final CutPro X. I really hope that Apple follows Steve Job's ideas, because since his passing, Apple has not been as reliable and as awesome as it used to be.. Please fix... I'm using the latest MBP Retina and newest iMac and iPhone. (I liked the way it was. I wish I could downgrade)... Thanks..

That is great, but unless you show us a system report all we have to go on is the fact you are annoyed by your machine that seems to be misbehaving. All you have is a misbehaving Mac. It doesn't seem like a very productive relationship does it?

Maybe we will be completly unable to help you in any way, but you seem to be completely unwilling to allow us to even try.

So for the last time Rotor-Head…

Download http://www.etresoft.com/etrecheck open the app to create a report, post it here.

If it looks like unicorns & rainbows you can have my apologies in advance, we have all been in situations like this which is why we want to help. I can't see Apple providing anything beyond that based on the info you have provided here.

I send ALL my reports to Apple when I am promted. I keep my "auto send reports" on on all my machines and devices that have that feature.. I want them to sucees more that you know.. I love Apple. I just need it to work like it used to... I run very lean machines and NEVER install software that I don't need. Most of what I use is FCPX, Mail and all the other Apple Apps...

PS.. I prefer not to download some other 3rd party "tell me what's wrong" apps... sorry..

Bottom line is this.. Apple is in the beginning stages of letting the all time Apple gang down.. It's not a huge problem yet, and I am still happy to use and promote Apple, but I started this post with the message that "IF" they keep going this way, they will loose customers... I hope they take a step back and get back to what works, rather than tryring to impress people with what they can do. After all, Apple was founded on the principle of telling us what we needed BEFORE we even knew we wanted it, and I really liked that. I've learned of what I like a lot from Apple.

PPS.. It's not just mine.. I run a MBP Retina, a new iMac and a Mac Pro (along with a few iPads, iPhond and iPhones) and myslef and many of my guys at work are all complaining that things are not working as well.. I'm not going to give out my system reports because someone asks for them,. If I was the only one, I might, but it's not just me... It's a big crowd...

I'm sure there are people out there having a perfect time, but not everyone.. It wasn't like that before...

I totally agree with everything the author of this post has said.

I have been a long time apple fan as well.

It is absolutely unacceptable that a vendor like apple demands premium prices for their products and has embarassing bugs that should never have happened in the first place.

It has now been several weeks - i still can't upgrade my Mac Mini 2013 model to Mavericks because it continually encounters errors (despite doing every single step i have seen online). I am not prepared to call the so called apple geniuses because frankly they bore me and i am normally guiding them through troubleshooting methodology.

As for my iOS device - lets not even go there... the music player randomly crashes....

i could go on and on.

But I will just say - apple needs to fix their SH**. It is embarassing that a company who builds their own hardware and software in so called harmony to have users like me experience upgrade issues each and every time a new OSX comes out. For now i am sticking to mountain lion.
