I accidentally clicked 'don't trust my computer' on my iphone 5, it was a total accident as I wanted to click'trust my computer'. What can I do 2 gt tht message pop up back? I tried resetting my phone n turning it on and off. My PC is windows7

What I did was I unpluged my iPhone, then I opened iTunes on my computer then plugged my phone back in and then the little notification thingy popped up again. I then VERY CAREFULLY selected the 'Trust" box.

I do have a Mac though so it may not work for you. (But if I were you I would still give it a shot)

Mine behaving slightly different. Windows PC no iTunes. Trust worked ok until I selected don't trust. Now pop up comes but just keeps popping back up each time I select trust. Any idea how to tell the iPhone 5 to trust this PC once again?

For windows users.

Go to: Start >Devices and printers

In the botom you will have Unspecified

Then, right click on aplle iphone

In the top go on Hardware, then Properties, then in the top go to Driver and you will have an option to update driver.

Update it aumatically trough internet and then it will work.

Cannot click on apple iphone under devices because the pc does not see it because the iphone keeps going back to the Trust Don't Trust screen each time I click Trust!

On your iPhone, follow these directions: Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings.

I'm having same problem. Didn't work (i.e. not develop menu bar) with El Capitain and iPhone 6s.

In Itunes on PC using Windows 10

- Go to EDIT > Preferences

-Click advanced and reset all dialog warnings > RESET WARNINGS

should fix problems without the hassle of resetting as I did
