iTunes keeps crashing on iPad Air
iTunes keeps crashing on my iPad every time I try to load the films. Can't seem to find a way around it, other than to buy a film on my mac and sync it. Is this a known bug?

Guess what?
It didn't work
Doh, heres hoping it would fix it. :/
I'm gonna try restoring from an older backup I did on my iPad 3
that also did not work and i have noticed on the left hand side of the screen in portrait mode a slight "shadow" top to bottom very slight but it is there.
I think i will be heading back to the store!!!
😠
ITunes Store app appears to be working a bit better now, still a bit buggy and jumpy but not closing anymore (fingers crossed) not sure if it's apple or something I did.
Here's what I did all via itunes on Mac mini with sync cable.
*back up first
*factory restore
*installed ipad back up from last month
*factory restore again
*installed most recent back up
It seems to working a bit better now but like I said not sure if it was what I did or if it was fixed at apples end. It's still a bit jumpy and slow.
I hope this helps
Its certainly better now on ITunes (doesnt crash everytime now when i select a film).
But i'm still getting random crashes when selecting movies - But it has certainly improved.
And i havent done changed anything on my Ipad.I just left it because i assumed it was a problem at Apples end.
Im still having the same issue, was trying to purchase world war Z but it kept crashing when seleting the icon.
Mine is back at it again and now the shadow on the left side of the screen. I am going back to the store tomorrow
This will make you laugh!
I've just returned from the Apple store where they knew nothing about the issue.
That was until I picked up their display Air and showed them. Sure enough within 10 seconds ITunes had crashed while in landscape mode. To say he was surprised was an understatement.
Has anyone else noticed how sluggish ITunes is as well? Try going from portrait to landscape when not in ITunes then try again while in ITunes and the difference is huge.

Yes,incredibly sluggish.Check out the app store as well.Select an app, preview a screenshot,so it goes full screen.
When it zooms in the animation is choppy. Now try and rotate the device ....Very,very choppy.
Ok team. - a very nice guy just called me from the US team and had me upload all my crash reports. I am very pleased with the way he spoke to me and the fact I am all the way over in the UK surprised me that he called me.
Apple are fully aware and the software team is working on the case!
Thanks Tracey!
Just tried this on Ipad Air 128 GB wifi/cell. My itunes isn't sluggish at all, moving from portrait to landscape and back nor the animations and doesn't crash. App store is same as on ipad 3, responsive normally. It obviously isn't an issue across the board so hope you resolve it. Everything noticeably faster than Three and I always have a lot open, back and forth between apps and multiple tabs open in Safari.
To add to this, I do have crashes in diagnostics but they are almost all one app. i saw the same complaint (in app store reviews) with app before the Air came out so this appears to be an issue with IOS 7
Initial testing recently seems very promising.... have applied IOS 7.0.4 patch and I am not quite sure if it was fixed before or if this update did the trick. Suggest other members of the community with the problem test prior to applying the 7.0.4 patch and then retest after to confirm what the situation is. I will continue to monitor my ipad.
Patch did nothing - still get regular crashes. Went to an apple store and went down the line of iPad airs - every single one crashed in iTunes Store. Easy to replicate - hold in landscape - enter iTunes - preview a movie - then go to tv section do same and back to movies - your air will crash at one point in that cycle.
