iTunes keeps crashing on iPad Air
iTunes keeps crashing on my iPad every time I try to load the films. Can't seem to find a way around it, other than to buy a film on my mac and sync it. Is this a known bug?

I'm having the same problem.
Appstore works fine,as does viewing music and tv shows - Its just the movies section.Crashes everytime when i click on a movie link.
However i found searching loads the links fine...Strange.Works fine on my old Ipad Mini (IOS6).
(ipad air 32gb Wif-Fi,IOS 7.0.3).
It worked sometimes when I searched for a movie, or when I clicked on the 'store' button in the Videos app. But when I want to use one of the links at the bottom of the page, i.e. Film Bundles, it crashes still.
I tried going through the video app,but it still crashes everytime on movies.
Forgot to add it has also crashed when using search once & just clicking on the film tab at the botton (from music or Tv section).
Read loads of threads today about Itunes crashes on IOS 7..But on other devices (and Itunes doesnt even load for these people).
Should also add,my IPad Air has done this since i got it...ie- Before putting anything on it.
Having exactly the same problem on both my iPad Air and iPad 1 which makes me think it isn't the IOS but the iTunes Store itself. It's also running very slow on my Mac but oddly seems to work on my iPhone running IOS7.
I've done the usual hard reset etc. and you can't obviously re-install the app plus my Air was setup as new only yesterday.
Exact same issue - brand new iPad air - factory settings and crashes in iTunes on the movies bit. HOWEVER - if I open it when the iPad is in portrait mode is does NOT crash. - turn it horizontal (landscape) and it crashes every time.
Same here. Brand new iPad Air, nothing else installed on it other than the factory defaults but it bombs out every time in the movies section of the store.
Portrait works a little better but landscape crashes every time.
Works fine on my MacBook Pro and iPhone.
Any news from Apple regarding this issue.
Yes that's weird, works fine in portrait mode but not landscape.
I bought my IPad Air yesterday 2/10/2013 and have just discovered the same issue. As you say, seems to load and run okay in portrait, but landscape just crashes every time. I guess Apple will sort it ASAP as its a revenue stream opportunity lost.
Tried a full factory reset this morning - first and only app I opened was iTunes - crash.
Don't bother with a full reset as it doesn't fix the problem.
Guys, I have signed up to report the exact same issue. Mine seems to be doing it mainly when I switch categories from the bottom, i.e, TV, Audiobooks, it crashes to desktop. It's fine in portrait mode, but I dont even have to press anything, as soon as I rotate it to landscape.....Crash!
I was worried about the iPad being defective, but from the sound of others problems, it seems more like a software issue than a hardware one.
Ok all - I called Apple this morning and they informed me that they have NO reports of this on their internal systems.
Can you all do me a favour and call apple support to register this so we create a ground swell of reports to make sure it gets to their attention as a priority.
Thanks.
Just spoke with support on - 0844 209 0611 and sure enough they are not aware of the problem yet.
Worth giving them a call to get this resolved.
I have the same problem, would be nice to see an apple response.
I have this problem too on a Ipad3 on ios 7.0.3 and yes itunes crashes when looking at films in landscape mode when I select a film, but strangely enough it works fine in portrait mode - wierd !
I have the exact same issues described above. I logged a call with apple customer care and emailed iTunes and they are stumped. I was told to do a full factory rest via iTunes from my computer in the event there is a corrupt file in the software or a corrupt third party app. I know it probably won't work but it has to be down to the software and not the hardware as YouTube, Netflix etc. work fine portrait and landscape. I have also tried my iPad on different wifi networks including using my iPhone as a hotspot so this restore via iTunes is my last attempt.
