OS X Mavericks: Finder closes and restarts

Since the last update (the last i-Books update I think), the Finder closes and re-starts almost every one minute...

This wasn't happening at the first 10 days that I had Mavericks installed. I have already ran the "Repair Permissions" from the Disk Utility, but not thourgh the recovery mode though.

It is so annoying.

Except Mavericks has been out for 3 weeks, I've been running it sice release and this is the first I've seen this (and seems to be the first ANYONE has). Something changed with OS X on Nov. 4 that is causing an issue with Google Drive and showing the sync status on the icons. The Google Drive app has not changed since at least Oct. 26 this year.

I found this thread while searching on this issue after I removed GD, my GD folder (what a PITA to get that restored) and the plist files in an attempt to resolve the issue. It seems that the sync status preference was unchecked automatically somehow, but now I have my GD and Finder isn't crashing once a minute.

Well, nothing has changed in OS X - GD has changed, apparently.... Easy to blame Apple and OS X, but it's actually Google (or any other third-party app, for that matter) who should take care of providing software that doesn't crash. As said earlier, Mavericks has been out as a beta for long enough to enable third-party developers to provide us with bug free apps.
