Ipad air low memory crash

I came to this forum to see if other ipad air owners are experiencing same problem with low memory crashing as I do but seems like I'm one of the few people have this. So far I have 10 low memory crash reports. I also have about 30 more crash reports but it's from various apps. I got my ipad air on the launch day, second in line, here in California. Maybe I just have a defective one, I don't know. If you have same issues, please reply so I can determine if I should return it or just live with it. Closing apps every day is a hassle. I wish Apple just put in extra gig of ram. Overall, I am extremely happy with my ipad. There are so many good this things to mention about this ipad but this is wrong thread to do that.

Indeed, this update didn't fix Safari. It's still alpha level crap on the iPad Air. Apple is a joke. This issue is probably unsolvable and directly related to Apple's greed on high margins at the cost of shipping defect by design hardware. Well, this was certainly the last iProduct I'm going to buy this decade. I'll surely recommend Android tablets to all my friends too. This is simply unacceptable.

Ok. Not sure if this is normal yet or not but...

That 9to5mac page loaded fine. I even scrolled to the bottom reading some comment of someone complaining about safari crashes. Lol.

What I didn't expect was that in this tab, where I hit reply and was in the middle of typing a response earlier, the page had to be reloaded and my half written response disappeared! That, I didn't like.

This doesn't happen in android or windows phone 8.

After a fresh install of iOS7.1 in my iPad Air I've successfully opened the website

I have an iPad Air Wifi only, 128GB of flash. I've successfully opened the same link with my iPhone 5 with 7.1

I have to point out that the site opened on the iPhone seems to be smaller, maybe adapted to a mobile browser.

With 7.0 the 9 to 5 site would always crash my iPad Air instantly. After updating to 7.1 I tried again clicking on the link. First time it crashed (low memory) when it tried to open WITHIN the Gmail app, but when I copied and pasted the link in Safari it suddenly opened! I could scroll down to the comments without a problem.

To summarize: based on my first experiences 7.1 doesn't solve all low memory crashes, but it's definitely a big step forward. It's also way quicker and feels more stable than 7.0.
