iPad Air Freezing

I have a new iPad Air which I got on the 1st. In the past two days it has frozen and required a hard reboot. Anyone else having a similiar experience?

I too switch from the QODE keyboard to the ZAGG and have NO crashes/reboots as I experienced with the QODE. And now, I'm getting used to the light-up keys on the ZAGG. Everything happens for a reason, right?

Since iOS 7.1 was released yesterday, I'm going to try the QODE again to see if the software update has anything to do with the crashes — although I'll likely stick with the ZAGG at this point.

Hey All,

After consistently having issues with the Belkin and my iPad Air, I've updated to 7.1, and oddly the problems have ceased for the time being. I might be being overly optimistic, especially because it seemed like the problem was't software based, but physically due to the magnetics of the keyboard, but I'll keep my fingers crossed. Has anyone else had any luck with this? I know the update addressed other forced-resets of the air, so maybe I got lucky. Cheers!

I bought one of these CRAP PADs just three days ago and I have had a nightmare time trying to get it to work as it refues to accept most of my typing. I wish I had never seen the **** thing!

Is the screen supposed to need a really hard bash with my knuckle to make it work?

Why does the typing freeze up when I correct a word or two?

I have put it on Ebay and will use the money to buy a Samsung Galaxy as my friends suggested.

My iTunes also (more often than not) would freeze at sync during step 7 transferring photos. I tried turning the iPad off then on. I also tried resetting iPad (holding down the home and start buttons for about ten seconds). What finally seemed to help was quitting iTunes and with the iPad still plugged in and on, re-starting iTunes. iTunes goes immediately into sync when it recognizes the iPad. It went to step 7 and was there for a couple of minutes before completing that step and finishing the entire sync after step 8 completed.
