Today my Apple Mail no longer provides me with my gMail in the inbox.
I can send mail to my gMail address and it shows in the Sent box ...but it never makes it to my Inbox.
If I log directly into Google Mail the email message is there.
This has always worked before.
Also, just now I downloaded and installed the Apple update for Mail ...which said it fixes some gMail account issues ..but I still have the problem.

My Apple Mail is still working fine ever since I fixed it on Jan 29 with this method:
Called Apple and the tech (Jamie Dear - jamied@apple.com) gave me these instructions (for Gmail IMAP users only):
Hold down the option key and go to Go > Library > Mail and rename the Mail folder Mail.old
Again, hold down the option key and go to Go > Library > Containers > com.apple.mail and rename that folder com.apple.mail.old
And again, hold down the option key and go to Go > Library > Containers > com.apple.MailServiceAgent and rename that folder com.apple.MailServiceAgent.old
In Mail, recreate your email account.

I don't see "Go" as a menu choice anywhere, with or without option key down.

Was expecting with 10.9.2 update they solve. No. Still the same. What a shame.
Then the fault is with your settings. If you can't get them right yourself, then make an appointment with your local Apple Store.
