Hi,
I updated OS to Mavericks but everytime I boot Mavericks, it opens many apps on booting. I probably should mention that I close/quit all of my apps before shutting down my iMac and 'Reopen windows when logging back in' is not active.

Hello everyone,
I too have this problem.
The only weird thing is that my macbook opens windows that i did not have open while shutting down, but had open some weeks ago.
One example of this is that when i open system preferences, it does not open in the normal general screen but in the network screen.
besides that my pc opens safari with a number of tabs i had open 2 weeks ago. ( and yes i have checked the preferences, it is supposed to open a brand new window with only google open).
So i assume it is a bug?
Mavericks keeps starting up apps on restart
