I am trying to update to the new Facebook Update, Version: 6.7.1
I have a few updates all come in at once tonight (November 8th at 9pm) However the other 4 apps updated but when I try to update Facebook, it tells me "Unable to Download App. "Facebook" could not be downloaded at this time."
I have shut off anf back on my IPHONE 5. I have signed in and out of my itunes account.
Does anyone know how to fix this?

Tried deleting and re-installing, but get same error. When deleting and re-installing app downloads from "purchased" as expected and looks like it is installing (indicator moves), but then app requests authentication and app fails to download.
Both hard and soft restarted phone, no effect.

I tried this Bizio, but I couldn't download the app again...
Unfortunatly I have my menuset to Italian so I can just guess what the menu in English is.
What about if you, after deleting the app, run App Store, Updates, scroll to the right at top to Acquired or Bought apps and scroll down the list looking for Facebook app ?
Can you find it listed there with the "cloud" symbol ?

You are right i see the cloud symbol.
But I can't download it and I get the same "unable to download" error message.
I'll just skip the update for the meantime.
Many people of different countries are having the same issue. My friends in Asia and the US both have said they had the same issue. So I guess it all ebbs from the App Store. So facebook will have to fix it 🙂

in the cloud I got the 6.6 version.
That's what I have reinstalled and I will not try the update to 6.7.1 till the issue will be solved with Facebook and/or Apple Store.
Till then I will carry on with 6.6 version.

It's November 9th, technically, and I'm still experiencing this glitch. This is seriously ******* me off.
How can you download the previous version of the app. When I try and download by clicking on the cloud symbol it gives me to same error. I'm confused.
Did you delete first the dark icon of Facebook before attempting download from the cloud ?
I've been getting this problem for the last 2 days, when I try & download it through iTunes instead i get a message telling me it failed because it couldn't download an image associated with the file?
That's the same issue reported a few posts (16 posts) before by chetiboy.
