Oddly enough, even though the preview, and playback before burning was bad, the actual burning to DVD looked good. Just wish I would have tried that in the first place. If I just Export the slideshow, drag it into an iDVD theme, and hit burn it worked fine. I was putting way too much thought into it. Of course, it was still a long night and I only got 3 hours of sleep, but partly because a DVD got stock/is still stuck in my iMac about half way through. I spent an hour trying to get it out with every trick I could find on the web. ARGH. Luckily, I have a mac mini that my kids use with a superdrive. Of course, they didn't have iDVD, so I ended up downloading a backup program and burned more copies of my slideshow (I needed 20) that way.
I do appreciate all your time, Old Toad! Cheers! ZzZzZzZzZz
iPhoto slideshow when exported to iTunes and then burned to a dvd will not play on current dvd players. anyone had this experience?
See my reply to your other topic.
I do not have IDVD. 😟 Thats wild that you cant burn it to dvd using the program that we create the slideshow in.
You can export the slideshow to the Desktop and burn it to disk with the Finder. iPhoto never has had the option or capability of burning slideshows to disks. It only would burn a mini library to disk until iPhoto 9.
HI i have tried what you have said, as well as following youtube videos on how to do this, the process works up to the point of burning it to a disc but i cannot get it to play on my tv, or other tv's that i try it on, can you help
