Wrong caller id city

Did you ever get resolution to this TJ? We are having the same issues with our 816-888-xxxx main phone line showing up as Boonville, MO vs Kansas City, MO. on Apple iPhones. It causes a lot of confusion for everyone we call to, especially for marketing folks!

814-359-XXXX is showing "Erie, Pennsylvania"

But... Should be showing "Bellefonte, Pennsylvania"

I'm a Realtor and every time i call somebody they think I'm calling from another city 50 miles from my actual location. This factor has been hurting my business.

My phone number is 801-680-xxxx

I have confirmed that the NANPA database is correctly showing Salt Lake City, UT associated with 801-680. However, when I make calls my clients think I'm calling from Provo, UT - this is a large difference/error. NANPA reports Provo, UT has 140 exchanges but 801-680 is not one of them.

In conclusion, NANPA correctly shows Salt Lake City for 801-680 but somehow apple or the carriers have incorrectly listed this exchange with the wrong city name. I'm hoping Apple can fix this for me. AT&T says they can't fix it and the only thing i can do is change my phone number. I can't change my number because I'm in business and I've been advertising my current number since 2005. Countless calendars, magnets, web sites etc. have already been delivered.

I hope somebody from Apple sees this and cares as much as Terry does. Thank you Terry for helping us all.

We have a new NPA-NXX 936-276 which is being used as new numbers for Montgomery ISD, the issue is that it is coming up as San Augustine TX.

If you can help get this fixed that would be great,

Hoping you can still help. I work for a large company and whenever we dial out from our premise to an IPhone user, the incorrect city is being displayed.

We have 470-564-5000 through 7999, and 770-381-1000, the incorrect city is Stone Mountain, GA. The correct city should be Duluth, GA. Please keep me posted with any progress, we have been trying to figure this out for months now....Thanks!

No not Yet, We are assuming it can not be updated until a new IOS is released. We also assume this will be updated.

If Apple is watching this thread. 414-766-XXXX should be Oak Creek, WI not South Milwaukee, WI.
