ios 7.0.4 Update battery issue again!

I don't understand why your phone can't be wiped clean

and have the previous operating system re installed.

I updated to 7.0.4. My phone was working perfectly fine before the upgrade. Since I upgraded the battery is draining from 100% to zero in 3 to 4 hours on standby. . This renders the phone useless unless you are tethered to a plug. A software update has broken your product. I have tried all the various recommendations to turn everything off and it is still draining. Come on Apple, This is ridiculous. It is not acceptable to kill relatively new phones with a software update. If this is not fixed I for one will NEVER buy another Apple phone. What sort of quality verification process was used for theis software update. Do your engineers even test impact on battery for various upgrade scenarios?

My iphone 4s in the last two weeks has become very reluctant to charge. It doesn't do this every time I try and charge it but I noticed today that when I plugged in the charger it told me the battery was 47% charged on the lock screen but the battery percentage in the top right hand corner is showing 17%

I have same issue i have iphone and ipad with ios 7.0.4 i never got this prob until i update to 7.0.4 my battery drain so fast i try turn off anything but not solve this battery drain Dear Mr.apple please fixed this prob and any issue on ios 7 or let people downgrade back to ios 6.1.3 until all prob on ios 7 fixed......ios 7 is nightmare 😢

Cant use the ipad at all want charge or even hold charge for more than 1/2 hour

If you don't set Facebook to work only when promped it will kill you battery

very fast. The same deal if your playing words with friends.

This is so disappointing. What is the point of buying one of the best phones in the world if the battery needs to be charged at least twice a day? And it makes no sense to turn all the amazing features and functions off to keep the phone running for five or six hours.

Maybe someone did jail on ios 7 device and can say which process doesn't go into standby?

I'm pretty sure that there is something constantly running and consuming CPU, because I can tell my iPhone seems hotter. It was not like hat before iOS 7.0.4. Restoring the device and setting it up as new does not change a thing.

Yes, there is a higher call in rate concerning battery drain issues with iOS 7, however issues like this are easily fixed by following a few simple steps to conserve battery life

I do not want to sound rude, I sorry if I do, but I think this was not helpful. There must be something wrong with iOS 7.0.4. By the way, I bought a new iPhone yesterday and battery is still draining fast even turn off almost all the functionalities.

My issue appears to be solved by re- installing the ios following a back up. This was achieved through iitunes. The new ios is rubbish. All of the sharpness of the display of my ipad and phone has gone. My wife's ipad 1 on ios 5 looks better and has a better battery life Than my ipad 4 even when I have disabled all of the dross Apple included in ios 7.

Did you get better battery life by just restoring the device from backup?
