Netflix quality HORRID after update

I made the mistake of updating to latest firmware, 6.0.2. Ever since, Netflix quality *****. SuperHD used to be so sharp and crisp. Now it's pixelated and NOT hd in the least bit!

How can I undo the software change? Has anyone else had this issue?

Still more info on cause. It became obvious this was never Apple's problem, but Netflix's.

Yes but ...

Yes, Comcast may not be completely objective, but this totally fits with what we all saw happening.

Not really. I doubt this was even true for all Comcast customers but it certainly wasn't true for those of us that saw the ATV-only problem go away immediatedly after the 6.1/7.1 update was installed.

I think there is blame to be apportioned without any prejudice, whether it is Apple, Netflix, or the ISPs.

To be taken with a grain of salt...

[Level 3 VP Mark] Taylor charges the unnamed ISPs (five in the US and one in Europe) with "deliberately harming the service they deliver to their paying customers," (as show by the graphs above displaying a maxed out connection and subsequent packet loss). He points out that all exist where the providers have "dominant or exclusive market share" and that these problems don't exist where customers have multiple broadband choices.

Looks like ISPs are exacting a price for transit, what a travesty of Net Neutrality. 😢

Hey mr Sniffy this was weeks ago.

There are rumours of per-protocol pricing in the works. Welcome to the brave new world that ISPs are ready to foist upon the golden goose called the Con$umer.

Hello Dear Con$umer,

You just retrieved a web page from a Tuvalu webserver, which is now under International Tariff and is no longer free. Your account on file has been charged for this access.

RIP, Sir Tim Berners-Lee, thanks for your idea of connecting the World, it is now anathema.

Wonderful!
