I have just updated to Mavericks and iphoto has a line through the App saying it is the wrong version.
I then updated the App for iphoto via the App store and it still won't work. Any ideas? I also downloaded the latest ilife from the App store too.
Pretty cheesed off. Any suggestions please?
iMac, iOS 5.1.1, I am using 5.5.7 version of safari.
I can't download iPhoto from the app store: "The item you've requested is not currently available in the U.S. store"
This iPhoto trick worked for me (in this case, upgrading from Mountain Lion to Mavericks):
The new Mavericks install had iPhoto 9.2.1. iPhoto wasn't available in the App Store. The web download/install of iPhoto 9.4.3 did not work.
I went to another computer that had a working copy of iPhoto 9.4.3 (in this case, a 10.8 MBA). I simply copied the iPhoto app to the computer with the Mavericks upgrade. It opened right up, updated the library, and now it's working.
iphoto not working after a Mavericks update. Any suggestions?
