Can anyone access the 3 Disney Channels on Apple TV?

All were working fine not 2 days ago, now none work on any of my 3 Apple TV's. Just get an "Accessing Disney (Junior, XD, Channel)" and a pinwheel of death that goes no where. I updated the software on a couple days ago when prompted. Perhaps that is messing things up? I even reset one of my devices to facotry settings (ugh!) and still doesn't work. Every other channel works, except for the Disney's. I double checked to see if they dropped my provider and they haven't. I can access them on my macbook air, just not Apple TV.

I have 3 year old twins who need their Jake and the Neverland Pirates!

MacBook Air, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.5)

Per 9to5mac posting authored by Zac Hall on Feb 27 at 1:05pm users of WatchABC livestream are limited to only to those SUBSCRIBED to a cable service provider AND live in certain viewing markets.

Here are the cables service providers: Comcast, Cablevision, Cox Communications, Charter Communications, Midcontinent Communications, Verizon FiOS, Google Fiber and AT&T U-verse

Here are ABCs viewing markets: New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Philadelphia, San Francisco, Houston, Raleigh-Durham, N.C., and Fresno, Calif.

Well my situation is no different than anyone here. Of the four apps on ATV: Watch ABC and the 3 Disney apps; only 3 of the four work. I want Watch ABC and unfortunately I am stuck with three Disney apps I could care less about. I DO NOT get an error message. If I did, that would at least be progress but I get the spinning ball with nothing other than that happening. It just continues to say Accessing ABC. The most annoying thing about this is that the Disney apps are "sister companies" to Watch ABC according to the ABC support person I spoke with. I was told that I am not the only one having this issue and unfortunately he didn't know what to do to help me. He basically said that he would like to hang up the phone with me to put me out of my misery because there is nothing he can do and there is no fix. I find this SO annoying! Especially since I have clicked on all 3 Disney apps, immediately got the main menu, and was the provided an activation code to proceed. These blogs continue to go round and round with the same topics of conversation but no solutions. How do we get someone to take action to resolve the issue? Clearly a forum discussing the matter isn't getting us anywhere. MP

If you have an Apple TV, AND you have a cable provider that provides Disney, and they are both working, you should have no real problem seeing Disney channels through your Apple TV.

However, if you have both and they are working individually, your problem is probably transitory or a network problem, both of which you have no control over, so someone is probably working on the problem that you will never even be able to thank.

The third answer. … For the cord cutters. … If you do not have a cable subscription that provides Disney channels, you will NOT be able to see the Disney channels through the Apple TV. … The contracts with apple from all the providers are negotiated compromises, where the cable companies previous contract with the providers trump the Apple contracts. … At least for now. ;-) That will obviously change in the future. Why? … Because we do not like it, and enough customers will always make a difference.
