iPhone 4S - 64GB, iOS 7.0.4 - Songs deleting

I finally updated to iOS 7.0.4 yesterday; I never upgraded to 7 before, as everyone I knew had major complaints.

I have the 64GB iPhone 4S. I love music and listen to the iPod feature all the time, especially when I'm in the library at school.

Well, ever since I updated to iOS 7.0.4, the phone deletes songs when I try to play them. It will delete the whole album in seconds, one song at a time, starting with the song I tried to play first. It will delete every song by an artist, until I stop it. I cannot get it to stop doing this.

i.e.: The Rolling Stones, I have 16 albums on my iPhone. Well, not anymore! It deleted every song!

Some people need to be fired over this. I cannot believe that they didn't recognize this issue before releasing the update. Fire them and kick them in the butt on the way out the door!

I have the exact same problem. After updating to 7.0.4, entire albums have been deleted, syncing music is completly out of wack, ghost songs are appearing on my phone. I tried restoring the phone and didn't work. The problem is persisting. Doesn't look like apple is addressing the issue and it is very frustrating to see how bad iTunes has become over the years.

This problem happened to me for the first time yesterday. I am often away from home so cannot reconnect to iTunes to resync my music until I get back, sometimes weeks later. I will be extremely fed up if this problem is not fixed soon.

There appear to be loads of examples of this problem occurring on various threads, but I have not yet seen any response from Apple saying they are dealing with it.

Is there any way to specifically bring it to their attention, rather than just vent our frustration on this discussion forum?

I'm another one you can add to the list. Same proble......songs are getting deleted. I do get an icon (Red circle with red square inside) next to song, but it's useless. After trying to get help from Itunes support, they told me my phone was not on guarantee anymore and it would cost me $35.00 for technical support. What a friendly bunch they are.

I've been experienceing this problem about once a month for the last four months. It always happens just after I've added new music to my phone. I can tell it's going to happen when I've dragged some music files to my phone, but the files remain in grey coloring, with the little circle thing next to them not filling up at all to show they're being synced. I'll then unplug my phone, and the next song I try and play will not only not play, but will continue to shuffle rapidly through every song on every album of the chosen artist, deleting each song as it scrolls through. It's really flipping annoying.

I haven't found a surefire way to fix it yet, but if I sit at my computer and plug in and unplug my phone, trying to get it to sync correctly, eventually it will take off every song I had on my phone and add them back on one at a time for me. It just ***** because I haven't figured out the science to it yet, it will just randomly start fixing my problem. I have a good friend who works for Apple and tells me that I need to restore my phone, but that it won't fix the problem, just prolong it from happening so soon again.
