How to sync mail accounts between ios7 and Mavericks?

Go ahead and laugh it up -- but in doing so, remember that this "Elmer PhD", has a PhD in engineering from one of the top schools in the world, and you do not. Geez I'm suprised apple hasn't nixed this conversation in favor of the small guy like you.

I agree Apple is pushing everyone to 10.7+ and iCloud and I'm fairly sure that's not going to catch on. It takes a man like Jobs, or a technology so revolutionary that the leader doesn't matter in order for soemthing to succeed. We have neither right now.

I dont thin you understood what the guys were talking about. We used to be able to put a checkmark, one by one, next to each email account we wanted to have on our iOS device.

No, i understand just fine and explained that to one of the posters above - it was a selective process. I liked it. but its still nto the end of the world.

It was also nice in that no data was sent to a 3rd party cloud - whcih violates most large enterprise IT reules - like them or not.

Disappointed that Apple took this step backwards. Finding a way to make Mail settings "keep" syncing, seems a lot easier than engineering the thinnest tablet in the world. I'msure it's not beyond them.

Yup, just like Windows.

+1 for this feature. There should be an option in iTunes to select the accounts you'd like to sync. What a pain to have to manually enter this information on all my devices. Even better, could it update this information wirelessly via iCloud? So if my email password is changed, all devices get updated?

That doesnt sync mail accounts. That just allows you to access the credentials for it.

Regardless of which of Janet's sentences had a "?" at the end, you should have understood that the question was asked in a particular context. To purposefully ignore the context of someone's question is both unhelpful and missguided.
