HI everyone. I purchased my iPad Air recently and have had the same issue of it randomly restarting many times a day. This happens regardless of what I'm doing or the level of charge it has. I worked with an Apple Support person to try to resolve this issue to no avail. Apple had me return it to them and I got it back with a letter saying "Nothing is wrong With your iPad!". Well,it only took a very short period of time when it began to randomly restart many times a day. I am so frustrated! we pay $$$$ to get "top of the line products" and this happens. Not sure what to do next???
i bought one month ago an ipad air 2 64gb and from the first week of usage i have the same problem. It restarts by its own randomly. Sometimes a red or a blue screen shows up. And it restarts more than one time in the row until it opens again. i contacted apple support and they could not tell me if it is a software or hardware problem. They told me to run a diagnostic test and no problem was found. Also i restored the ipad as a new and the problem still exists. i sent the ipad to the official apple service(as it is under warranty) and i wait their answer. It is extremely annoying to buy a product for a considerable price, with high quality expectations and such problems shows up from the first week. as i understand it is a common problem among ipad users and i can not believe that apple can not deal with it. it is supposed that you buy apple products in order to avoid such problems.
