My time won't update when screen is off, tried auto and manual set. What can I do?

My clock won't keep the correct time, when the screen is off it does not update correctly. I have tried using auto set and enabling the option in location services, and I have tried doing a manual set. In either scenario, when the screen is off, the clock stops counting time. I'm on an iPhone 5 running iOS 7.0.4.

Hi. Thanks for reply. This is what I have tried so far:

Shutting it off and on couple times, for the beginning.

I had reset the phone, wiped it out clean, tried to run it after that with factory settings. Didn't help.

Than I restored previous phone configuration, still didn't change anything.

Connected/ disconnected power, running it in airplane mode, than WIFI only, than GSM only, no luck so far.

If you restored the phone as new, ran it without loading any additional content and it didn't work correctly, then make an appointment at the Genius Bar of the nearest Apple store to have the hardware checked.
