can not connect to iTunes says fatal unable to process request

I keep trying to sign on to my itunes but says FATAL:: Unable to process request. Please try again. I've tried from my mac and ipad and same thing. I've changed my password too and still the same.

I have it also. I first noticed when I tried to buy an album at about 6:00 AM EST. Same on Macbook, iPad and iPhone. Tried changing my password and it didn't help.


Just got off the phone with support. Interesting that the iTunes support guy didn't know anything about it until he put me on hold for a minute and checked with someone else. He said the problem is "global".
