audio across slides in Keynote '13

I want to play audio across 5 slides in a presentation. The old way with older versions of Keynote won't work because there is no longer the hyperlink feature. I'm using Mavericks and Keynote '13. Anyone know how to do it in the latest version of Keynote? I'm working on an iMac right now with Mavericks. The discussions addressing this issue seem to all be a couple years old or more.

A simple method of doing this is going to document option in the inspector pane and choose "add a soundtrack". That way, the music will play throughout the presentation

Music is not wanted throughout the presentation, your suggestion is of no use for this task.

A sound file added to the soundtrack, will only play from slide 1, and will play continuously over every slide in the presentation.

Hello guys! So I've been looking at this post since half an hour ago, having the same problem. But instead of all that complicated whatever stuff you guys had to do with the build in and build out (I couldn't understand at all, my head is still hurting from reading the whole process when the original person who asked the question posted a solution), I've found another. Anyways, I went on Youtube and short story short, here's the link to exactly what you guys have been asking for:

An easy, peasy, simple solution to your problems! However, when you use this, the moment you press 'play presentation' the music or soundtrack audio will start immediately. The only way to stop it then is to exit out, so just in case this wasn't what you wanted, please don't reply with angry or upset comments. Thanks! Have a nice day. (:

(P.S. oh and of course, credit to whoever made this video! It really saved me.. and my grade so thanks!)

We have already dismissed this procedure as irrelevant as it plays sound only from the first slide and across all other slides.

Music is not wanted on all the slides in the presentation, your suggestion is of no use.

The question under discussion is: I want to play audio across 5 slides in a presentation.
