App updates are not showing up in iTunes

Yeah, good luck with that rolandomerida. At least on this forum there are others seeing the growing list of complaints. Throw it into the black hole that is apple support/feedback and who'll see it? I agree you might as well send it in to them but I wouldn't be expecting any result any time soon based on past experiences.

Actually it appears that problem is more serious than first suspected. Not only will iTunes not update apps but also it will not sync new apps from iPhone. Connecting iPhone to iTunes appears to try to sync but never finishes and apps which show up on iPhone screens on the right side do NOT appear on the list on the left side. Looks like some kind of major bug in iTunes.

I always thought it was a good thing to mention in a thread that you were also having the problem - just because it would show that it wasn't some funny interaction on one specific set up, but a wider problem.

My wife & I have separate iTunes accounts, but we often share and trade apps & media (just as we would with physical CDs and books). Does anyone else affected have apps or media from another iTunes account in their current library?

nope, it also hits folks who have just one account, just back from an hour with apple support on the phone, they were blissfully unaware of the problem, level 1 support was no help at all, level 2 ... a bit better, but by the low standards of level 1, that's not truly an improvement ... I wanted to point out to the guy that there's a report on this problem on www.tuaw.com today, alas, he told me: we cant access the internet ... lalala

Last week I turned on the various Automatic Downloads options under Store Preferences in iTunes, and then this week I was wondering why there were no updates. Sounds like it's unrelated, but just throwing it out there.

Same issue here. No ios-apps updates showing in the latest version of iTunes on Mavericks. Also, it won't sync songs with iOS, just breaks up and stops.

Same problem for me here in Switzerland. For 3 days no new updates are showing up in iTunes. Since I don't see any updates for all of my 5 iTunes accounts in different countries, I suspect that this is a problem of the iTunes applicationand not a problem of my account.

Same issue here in South African using an USA account as well over 10000 apps in my liblrary no updates showing since tuesday apple need to do smothing to fix the issue ASAP😠

2 US accounts, with iTunes 11.1.3 running on 2 PC's, one with Vista, the other with 8.1. I've had no updates on either machine with either account.

Same problem here with both a Windows Vista and Windows 7 system. I've seen this problem since last Friday. I did notice that if I select an app in the iTunes store that my IOS devices say have an update, and say to download it from the store, the first attemp results in "We could not complete your iTuners store request. An unknown error occured (-45054)", but if I try it again it works the second time.
