App updates are not showing up in iTunes

I have a notification of 14 apps for updating on my iPad and 15 apps on my iPhone. Yet, nothing is appearing in iTunes on my MacBook Pro / OS 10.9. No matter how often I click "Check for Updates", I am told that there are no updates available for my library. When I check the version numbers of the apps in my iTunes that appear on my iPad & iPhone, they are a version below what is available.

This has only started happening in the last couple of days.

iTunes-OTHER, OS X Mavericks (10.9)

As I earlier today fixed this issue by just deleting the pn;y two apps I downloaded in the US appstore (iTunes Trailers & Weber Grills both are not available outside the USA) I got all updates and downloaded them.

5 minutes ago an update for Flight Track 5 became available in the Dutch App Store. So I put back both my US App Store apps iTunes Trailers & Weber Grills and voila Flight Track 5 was still available. Rebooted my Mac and again the Flight Track 5 was available.

WFT 😮

Same problem here in United States. I first noticed it Friday 12/13. I've tried the same basic tricks, quiting and logging in and out of iTunes, restarting the computer etc. I checked for a software update, but it shows my iTunes software (11.1.3) is up to date. Doesn't make sense that my familys 2 iphones, 2 ipod touch's and ipad all show software updates but my desktop iMac with all of the apps shows NO updates available. It looks like iOS is updating apps fine while the desktop iTunes app update is broken.

The saga continues...

A new update came available for Velocity. (Saw it on Twitter) As I put back both my 2 US App Store app back in iTunes, the Velocity update was not available. After deleting both US apps Velocity became available. So in my case it is a matter related to more than one iTunes account.

Strange that people with only one account also encounter this problem...

jeez. 😕

Feedback also submitted.

For what it's worth, I also have two iTunes accounts - I initially thought that was the problem, as I've seen a similar issue when accidentally signed into my old iTunes UK account (although it did show the badge for available updates in all iTunes stores, it only checked the UK one, and insisted everything was up to date). Tried signing out and in, even though it was clearly using the US account, reinstalling iTunes, rebooting, and tapping my heels together three times. Nada.

I'm having the same issue. iTunes 11.1.3 - OS 10.6.8 (old school).

Showing updates on my iPad and iPhone 5 (both iOS 7.0.4).

Only 1 iTunes ID; Canadian store.

Right now, I'm trapped in a circular email **** with Apple Support about it.

Either they don't know there is a problem or it is as someone mentioned before - that this is the new behaviour for iTunes. Blargh.

I've included a link to this thread in my email exchange with support.

We'll see if they come back with anything.

The first three emails have been replies that tell me to do everything I said I did in my first email. Sigh.

OK now I'm on this bandwagon with the same problem! Discussion topic subscribed!

For me, the problem cropped up only recently. And so with the latest greatest version of all software and OS (and desktop hardware too... only the iPad is 4th gen), mine had been working like before, as expected, for the way it's supposed to work, for a good solid two weeks after upgrading. Two weeks of fun.

Now bummer.
