It says to find my library, to look for remote tab in tab bar when in iTunes. There is no such tab.

What version of iTunes are you running on your Mac (or PC)?

Next to where it has a drop down menu at the top that shows whether you are in music, movies, podcasts etc... there is an icon with a phone in it. Click this and there should be a remote logo with the name of your device. Click it and it will ask for the 4 digit code. and thats it. you have to have the app open on your phone, iPad etc.. for this to work.
