Game Center keeps signing me out

I have two devices where I use Gamecenter and then three other devices in my family that use my Apple ID for app store, but have a unique Gamecenter.

I have detected no pattern between using different devices and when the problem shows up. I may not have the issue for a whole day and the next day have it sign out 10x.

I too have this issue in a iPad 2 from 2011, not sure which generation that is. It is very irritating. It is wifi only and I do have a 4s, but I don't play games on it so that shouldn't be an issue. It very frustrating to get kicked out so often. I have done everything suggested and have done all the iOS updates. They just new to fix this thing already!

Forgot to mention, but in addition to being constantly logged out of game center I'm also having trouble with find my phone. Everytime I look at settings the feature is turned off. I turn back on check again and it's off. So if I lose my phone or it's stolen I have no protection. Anyone else having both of these problems? I think they are related.

I have the same exact problem. I open game center, sign in if asked, launch my game, play it and after a random period of time the game crashes, I reopen it and then get a gamecenter login prompt inside the game, I enter the password and it can't connect. I close the game and go back to step 1.... it's been happening for a few months.

Also If i charge my ipad with wifi on, sometimes icloud will try to do an auto-backup, this never ever works because it always needs me to enter my password first. But if I manually tell the ipad to backup to icloud then i'm never prompted to enter the password.

I tried turning on 'find my ipad' as mentioned as a posssible solution to the gamecenter issue in another thread, this didn't help, and a few days later I noticed 'find my ipad' and icloud backup settings all turned off.

so does Apple read these posts? I have an ipad mini non-retina, wifi, very good wifi connection with no interruptions ever, and a reliable fast internet connection that has no problems.

The problem is at Apple's end... when will it be fixed?

I had this problem before as well and I solved it by Settings>General>Reset>Reset all settings

This will delete all your password stored on the device such as wifi network, iCloud, email password etc.

I Have this issue when playing hay day. The game centre shows i am signed in then when I go to hay day the game centre sign in pic appears and asks me to sign back in. It then won't sign me in. i can then sign in through the game centre if I leave hay day but most of my hay day friends do not appear in the friends bar even though game centre says they play (some are family so I know they play). The weird thing is it will show some of the game centre friends with different pictures to their game centre pictures which makes me think that the game centre has linked only the ones who also have a Facebook account. I can't interact with my children or mother in law. They can see me but I can't see them. I don't play many other games so not sure how wide spread but it would make sense for the game centre to have a button to keep you signed in

Same here and it's driving me crazy! I stay signed in for a few minutes then bam, I'm kicked out and have to sign in again. I tried contacting support and all I got was I'm not eligible for tech service unless I pay a $20 fee? WTH is that?!?! Fix the **** problem already!!!!!

this is so annoying. about every 2 days I'm logged out, so i just leave it.

BUT... isn't an iOS 7 thing. i have iPod touch 5 on ios7 and iPhone 3gs on iOS 6, both log me out. its especially annoying as i play clash of clans and if i log in and go on the game like a day later it'll lag and say "log into game canter" BUT 'WONT CONNECT TO GAMECENTER SERVER'. i think there may be something wrong with the servers or something but its super annoying!!!!!!!!!

Just thought I would add myself in here. Today I was signed out of game center 14 times, sometimes I would log in and stay within the game and 2 minutes later it would request me to sign in again.

It's been happening on and off for months but in the past week it's been happening more frequently. I also have the problem where sometimes it rejects my log in saying it cannot connect to the server. I definitely have internet access and my apple id and password were correct.

Very irritating issue and none of the trouble shooting I have tried has solved it. (I have a 4s running iOS 7.1.2).

Short of a trip to the Genius bar I am not sure what to try next.

I have EXACTLY the same issue. I'm using ipad 2 with iOS 7.1.2. Gamecenter logs me out randomly. It says "cannot connect to the server" when I try to relog in from the pop up window in game, but Its not a connection problem. I can log in if I go to the gamecenter app itself but it doesn't last long before I get the same very annoying message that I am not signed into gamecenter. This happens multiple times everyday. Please fix this issue!

With the recent hack into apple accounts, I wouldn't be surprised that this issue is because there is hackers trying to brute force hack into people's account. Then due to too many failed attempts, the system then logs-out officially logged in users.

Hey I have been having the same problem but I found out a way to temporarily fix it, pretty much what you have to do is go into Game Center scroll up (which would make it go down) Then reset it be email or security questions it's your choice then reset your password and it should work and probably keep on doing it also there is this app I use it's called dashlane and pretty much what it does is it stores your passwords ok ( not advertising XD) anyway thanks 😀

i recently got an iPhone 6 and I've had no Game Center issues, it keeps me signed in all the time! its the same account as i had before.... your solution seems handy, ill try it if my Game Center breaks again 🙂

found on another forum that memory intense apps causes memory corruption and icloud synch is first to go. So I went and deleted my icloud acc from my iPad mini settings.

games that crash due to disconnect from game centre hasn't crashed!! Games that kept asking me to login no longer do so. And haven't seen the pop up telling me game not authenticated with game centre when they launch.

been almost a week and not even reboot iPad mini yet. all still well.

iPhone 6 Plus, iOS 8.... same problem. Multiple times a day games ask me to sign in to GameCenter. Which, thanks to 2-factor authentication is a royal pain... and sometimes impossible! Because on landscape games, no keypad is presented to enter the code! So I'm stuck.

Erasing all my settings is not an answer, if it even helped... that's data loss. Data loss is WORSE than having to boycott all GameCenter games.

No problems on my iOS 7 devices.
