How do I transfer games onto a new device without losing game progress?

Okay so here's the thing. I have an iPod Touch (4th generation) and I am going to be getting an iPad mini. How do I transfer games onto my new iPad without losing my game progress? I have a lot of high scores on some of the games and i am also on high levels in some of the games and i do not want to restart them!! To be clear let's say I have Cut the rope and i am on level 13 so how do i transfer the game from my ipod to my ipad without losing the levels and having to restart the game????????????

I lost my ios iphone I had game Mortal Kombat X ...now i want to have the same progress on ipad mini ...after i installed game and signed in with apple id and WBID a fresh game poped up instead of all progressed game ...... where is the progress save server ?

Did you set up the mini using the iCloud back up from your iPhone ? And did you have Mortal Bombat turnrd on in iCloud to be back up ?

no i never back up ...Because its all save automaticly on a server ..I just need to download the last save.

Then you need to contact Mortal Combat and ask them for your save, nobody else has it.

When I got my new iPad Air 2, I backed up my old iPad 3, and I did a restore on the Air 2.

Several games had saved progress from the restore but some did not.

The games by Glitch such as Forever Lost 1, 2, 3 & Cabin Escape all lost their progress with no way of getting it in the game.
