No Best 5K?

Let me first say that I love the Nike+iPod Kit. It makes me want to run every day.

However, I've now ran four 5K's since I got it, but on my Nike+ site, under the "My Records" tab, it doesn't say anything for my best 5K. I at first thought that it was because I would run a few steps more to slow down bringing the running distance to 5.01 Km rather than the 5.00 Km. So, today I stopped my workout right at the "5.00" mark. When I uploaded it to the website though, it still didn't say anything.

I contacted Nike about it and they said that they've been having technical difficulties and that it should be fixed, but it still hasn't been fixed.

Is anybody else having this problem?

Twenty6 - did both runs update instantly on the "ever" leaderboard rankings? My first one did but my second one hasn't.

Other than that, I have exactly the same problems that you are experiencing. Like some of the others I've emailed the support team and await their reply.

Try this. I did, and it worked.

On the settings screen, there is a setting called "Distances" (I think, I don't have my nano in front of me.). Make sure it says kilometers instead of miles.

Until last night, I had no record for my 5k. Last night, I switched the setting and successfully uploaded a personal record. I was also greeted by Lance on my Nano for my record setting run.

Good luck all... keep running.

Here has been my experience with the 5K function:

- I ran using the 5K workout, and never recorded it as a 5K
- I ran a 10K and it did record the first 5K as my personal best 5K
- I ran several more 5K and 10K (only 5K of the 10) and never has recorded them as my best times, and they were my best times too
- Never updated any leaderboard stats

At least I feel good about getting my time down to 18:38, I just wish my stats and the leaderboard reflected this.
