need to get clash of clans from old device to new device. set up game center but only seeing new device coc not old device

My son received a new ipod for christmas. I set up new ipod and apps from old ipod loaded onto new ipod. However, his clash of clans progress did not load. I tried setting up game center to link the devices and screwed up by setting up game center on the new ipod first so now it only wants to load the village from the new ipod but i need the progess from the old ipod to load to game center....help

Thanks a lot.Your Solution really works. My 12 year old son used to keep my iphone engaged all the time to play clash of clans as he was unable to transfer his village on his new i pad. Now with your steps he could do it. Now he is free and iam also free.

I found the answer! You go to game center ---> games, then and swipe left on the clash of clans and push 'remove' then push 'confirm' to then 'cancel' to the unistall
