Would you use a Chinese device in a company,
if it is suspected that the equipment is not clean.
We want to check it yourself.
And we want a legally binding statement by the manufacturer.

If you do work for the NSA, then I'm not worried about the security of my phone. I am a little anxious about the country as a whole, however,

To date, there is no evidence that the NSA has actually installed anything on any iPhones. Apple has already made a statement.
1. non technical: No I don't work for NSA and I'm really happy not to be an US citizen and I don't actually would discuse my persona
2. technical: there is nothing like "security" in any activated phone except maybe the old non-smartphones, but that is the everyday risk. I'm pretty sure the big companies are aware of the potential risks and I don't think that a "normal" man should be freak out because of some "informations"
3. btw.: Applebaum made statement, Apple made statement, only NSA don't made any 🙂

NSA iPhone hack is uninteresting

If you believe a government agent or other untrustworthy individual has had physical access to your iPhone, restore it to factory settings. Otherwise, there's nothing to remove.

Thank you. I do feel happier about the safety and security of my country knowing that you're not involved.
Best of luck.
you're very welcome.
Thanks

Pure unadulterated bull. You probably live in your mother's basement.
But I don't like the arrogant way of some ppl here, that's all
Then stop being a troll.
I really don't se a clear answer from Apple on how to access and scan the filesystem to ensure that no maware like dropout JEEPER existst on the phone.
You can't access the file system on an non-jailbroken iPhone. It is physically impossible for malware to get on the phone without jailbreaking it.
It is unthinkable that the jailbreak is the only expolit in iOS 7 versions.
Your statement that it is physically impossible to get malware without jailbreak is ridicilous. Nowhere in NSA document has any Jailbreak-requirement been noted.
Why are you deleting my posts here?
KiltedTim, now you stop deleting posts, hear me??? 😉

NSA documents? Where, exactly, has the NSA documented their own covert surveillance "system requirements"?
😉
