Help! My iphoto won't open. The message is that it's locked, on a locked disc, etc. How do I get it open?,

I've recently switched from PC to MacBook Pro. I can't find icon for iPhoto anywhere, have tried Spotlight, Finder, etc. Could you please help with this?

Thanks for the suggestion - depress alt + command, I was able to rebuild my library 🙂
