Unable To Open Document. Newer Version of Pages Needed?

Thanks to IOS 7 and whatever updates -- free mind you that I have installed on my iPad, I can now no longer open Pages documents I have created on the iPad on my Mac...from what I understand, if I was using Office/MS Word I would be able to open it. Since I can't print from my stupid iPad due to lack of AirPort, I am stuck. It looks like the Apple Dumpling Gang is attempting to hold me up for another version of iWork and 40 bucks. Way to go, you so and sos!

App store says no updates in the meantime, so this is really weird. I am thinking the 40 bucks would be a waste of money?

iWork/Pages-OTHER, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.5), Maverick upgrade available

Since this thread is a few years old, you should probably post your question in a new thread. Make up a title that describes the problem, and tell us what versions of Pages and Mac OS you're running. (Check in Pages > About Pages, and [Apple icon] > About this Mac.)

Cheers
