i have forgoton restrictions password, how do you reset it?

I used 1234 as recommended by another user. I didn’t recall ever setting a PIN for restrictions and now it seems it was set during an up date. I would suggest before resetting phone try the default 1234. Work for me

If you backup to your computer's iTunes they should be. But you should also take your own backup copy of them by copying them over to your computer : https://support.apple.com/kb/HT201302
