I used 1234 as recommended by another user. I didn’t recall ever setting a PIN for restrictions and now it seems it was set during an up date. I would suggest before resetting phone try the default 1234. Work for me

You can use a Mac or a PC with iTunes on it, or if you have Find iPhone enabled on it you can try sending a remote wipe message via that

You don't. You'll need to restore the device. The instructions have been posted repeatedly in this 39 page thread.
