Jan 7, 2014 7:00 PM in response to Droppedanchorby Demo,That is really a broad statement/question?
If you can't send messages go to Settings>Messages>Show Subject Field>Off.
Mesaages only works with other iOS devices or Macs running Mountain Lion or Mavericks and the person that you want to message with must be setup and registered to use messages on their own device before you can text with them.
If none of that was applicable, please ... By all means ... Actually describe what is going on. Don't keep us guessing with statements like "iMessage not Working"?

Jan 14, 2014 4:07 PM in response to Droppedanchorby sqlt,I know this is simplistic, but have you tried restarting your phone?
* hold both home and lock buttons down for 6-7 seconds.
I had an issue where my phone wouldn't sign into iMessage. It kept throwing an error at me and told me to try again. This resolved my issue on the first try.

Jan 15, 2014 7:30 AM in response to Droppedanchorby pawcat,It worked up until last night. One message to my husband went through and then all subsequent failed. I didn't even know what imessage was until it failed. I have restarted my phone (home & lock held down) and it didn't work. I have even turned it off, reset the network functions and turned it back on and no dice. This needs to be addressed!

Jan 23, 2014 7:57 AM in response to pawcatby Lainey1,I having the same issue. One message sends via iMessage fine and then the next has to go via standard text message. Today my friend and I tested this, standing next to each other and iMessage worked fine on 1 message and then not on the next one. Clearly an iMessage issue going on!

Jan 23, 2014 5:12 PM in response to Droppedanchorby The_Solver,iOS 7 iMessage “Waiting for Activation/Activation unsuccessful/Not Working” Fix
After not finding a solution this fix I found by myself worked for me. Please
note that it may not work for everyone. (Found on an iPhone 5)
Step 1: Go to Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings
Step 2: Your iPhone should reboot so hold on for one second.
Step 3: Go to Settings > Messages
Step 4: Turn on iMessage and then double click the home button
Step 5: Turn off Settings by dragging up the application window with your finger.
When you go back to settings it should work.

Jan 27, 2014 4:46 PM in response to Lainey1by Shelia Addison,I'm having this same issue. iMessages to my partner's iPhone started timing out today, though he says he's recieving messages fine. I had to turn on "use SMS when iMessage isn't available" and now all my texts are going through as SMS. I've restarted my phone several times.

Feb 25, 2014 11:22 AM in response to Droppedanchorby Wooze,I had this issue today on my iPhone. It looks as though IOS 7.06 had downloaded but hadn't been installed. Once the update had been installed I went from green texts but blue iMessages. Sorted!
