Dear Apple's resrictions makers,
I'm using iPhone 5s .. And i'm privileged with unlimited GBs over LTE Cellular Data.
I've choosed to download an App which is over 100MB .. Got the message that I should connect to WiFi in order to download this App .. Why?

I'm not sure this thread was done but the point is it isn't your place to tell anyone if it is done.

This limit makes no sense for two reasons:
1) Subjective opinion: if I have a big monthly data plan and I want to use that data however I like, I should be able to.
2) Objective fact: anyone can connect to my personal hotspot and download a single app or update of any size and there is no restriction; my son just downloaded a 284MB app using my hotspot while I'm connected to AT&T via LTE, but I can't apply a 150MB update to an app on my iPhone 6 providing the hotspot to his iPad Mini.

Ive accidentally found a rather odd solution!connect charger & select applications that you want (sure it would say this app is over 100MB &...) click on ok & the app appears on your home screen waiting...then restart your phone as soon as it is back online it starts downloading apps (all of them even if it is over 100MB)
Correction:the charging part is irrelevant just restart your phone after you chose applications over 100MB
PS:i have iphone 6+ IOS 8.3

Probably because you are on wi-fi.
Why limiting downloads to 100MB over Cellular Data?
