itunes update to 11.1.4 failed ERROR 7 (Windows error 126)

Thanks, followed exactly your instructions by removing the programs one by one in the described sequence, rebooting the computer and then reinstalling itunes as Administrator. It worked, but being a Windows PC user, I wonder why iTunes caused this problem in the first place. Aren't Apple products supposed to be simple and so end-user friendly as opposed to Windows "crap"?

Like many of you, I can't download iTunes 11.1.4. It says "error 7" and "error R6034". (Even if I ignore those messages.)

I looked at a lot of posts on the web, and it suggested to uninstall everything about Apple on the computer, iTunes first. The thing is, I can't uninstall it, my PC doesn't want to. I don't understand why.

I tried to update iTunes again and again, but it is the same... Maybe Apple will make a new update soon, because there is a lot of problems with this one (11.1.4), I don't know, but it is annoying... Thank you for your help !

I'm reinstalling it, hope it works...

Just one thing weird, I reboot my PC (twice) and there is always a message with the error R6034. But I also used CCleaner, so I don't know why there is still this message.

It still doesn't work, I don't know what to do...

I follow your instructions, but some files remain (Apple, Bonjour) and it doesn't want to be deleted as well.

I tried to reinstall iTunes, I can't.

Maybe if I restored my PC, and do this again, this will work better ?! Otherwise, I really don't know what to do.

Try using the slightly more detailed process outlined in HT1923: Removing and reinstalling iTunes for Windows Vista, Windows 7, or Windows 8. It may help to use safe mode if you find yourself unable to remove any of the folders recommended in the instructions.

Will my songs, videos and my album art all gone ? Or it will still be there after reinstalling(perfectly the same as before) ?
