I feel your pain azmomof3grls. !!!!!! I am beyond frustrated and fed up right now. I have an Associates in Computer Networking/IT and experience in the field of tech support for various programs and network monitoring. I have NEVER had something so difficult and seen so many steps thrown at you to "see what it does". Well, endeth the rant. Good luck to you and everyone else that is having issues. I hope that all of these issues will be figured out so future iTunes users will be able to have exact directions on how to fix the issue!

Easy fix on windows XP

1) Start Windows task manager.....hold ctrl+alt+delete, then choose START TASK MANAGER

2) In task manager click tab services

3) under services tab find "MSiSCSI" right click choose STOP SERVICE

I did this immediately after seeing the error while Apple updates was trying to run. It works and if you ever need the service it restarts on its own.
