Please help! I cant make 3rd point as I dont see 'Apple Iphone' Under 'Portable Devices'...

I am trying to apply your solution but I can't seem to go pass step one. When I go to my Device Manager, there is no " portable devices " option! What can I do? Please help me.. I haven't been able to sync my phone for 3 weeks and there is no space on it anymore and I don't know what to do!!

Try a full tear down and reinstall. See Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates.
